Once completed, the seven schemes combined will be worth almost £300m and will offer more than 160 affordable homes.
The schemes are all located in or close to Leeds, Wakefield and Huddersfield, with some sites fully owned outright, while others are contracted subject to planning permission.
A number of the developments will regenerate redundant brownfield sites, including the redevelopment of the West Yorkshire Police former training facilities located at Bishopgarth, close to Wakefield city centre.

Redrow has also received planning permission to develop 241 new homes on a former manufacturing plant in Garforth, which will offer a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.
Warren Thompson, north regional chief executive at Redrow, added: “Bringing redundant brownfield sites like this back into vibrant use and creating new communities is an important element of what we do.
“We will also be creating and supporting hundreds of jobs, directly on site, indirectly within the supply chain and also induced jobs through local spending by construction workers and homeowners.”
